FILATO MOSAIC
The Filato its an enamel, which is heated and then stretched into extremely thin rods.
It can be flat or round in shape. This production technique was first introduced in Rome in the Holy Year of 1775, in the workshop of mosaicist Giacomo Raffaelli, and reached its peak in the mid-19th century. This material can be used to create reproductions with extremely high image definition.
